Groundworks Machinery Mechanic
The position
As an groundwork Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting equipment. This includes several types of excavators, skid steer loaders and shovels, aggregates and various earth, road and waterway construction vehicles.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Performing repairs, maintenance, overhaul and modification in the mechanical, motor, electrical and hydraulic fields;
- Locating and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
- Independently diagnose expected repairs;
- Work takes place in the workshop or on customer premises.

Your profile
- Completed MBO 3 or 4 diploma towards SOMA Grondverzet, FEDECOM; Agricultural Mechanisation, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical engineering;
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, but school leavers are also welcome;
- Driving licence B, BE is an advantage.
